Dramatic Academic Growth
Dramatic Academic Growth
Data informs all of life's decisions - from what to wear, say and do, to critical decisions that impact students' educational trajectories. However, data in early childhood is much more complex than simply analyzing numbers. Because our children are their own unique people, it is critical to remember that development is dynamic, not static. Gathering and collecting this information must be done in an authentic, intentional, and developmentally appropriate manner. Furthermore, a truly transformational teacher engages in ongoing, deliberate examination of this data, as well as routine reflection. Consistent use of this valuable information will enhance educational experiences, resulting in dramatic levels of cognitive, social-emotional, physical and academic growth.
